In The Name of God Amen this thirde day of November 1729 I Mary Burson of Milton in the parish of Shipton under Wichwood In the County of Oxon Widow being Wake in body but of a sounde and perfictt disposing minde and memory thanks be givinge to almighty God for the same do make and ordain this to be my Laste Will and Testiment in maner and Forme Following Furst and moste Chife I Recommende my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Cratieor hoping Through the merritorius deth and pasion of oure Lorde and Savior Jasus Christe to Recave free pardon and Remison of all my sines and my body to the Erthe to be desently Buried at the discresion of my Exceitor herin after mentioned and as for and corserning Such Temporal goods and catells as it have plased to be Stowe on me I give and devise in Maner and Forme Following I primis I give unto my Grandson Richarde Silman and to my Grandson John Silman Sones of my Son in Lawe Richard Silmane by my Daughfter Jane his Wife to Each of them on shilinge a pes I prinise I give unto Mary Silman - my Grandaughfter and Daughfter to the aforesaide Richard and Jane Silman all the Rest and Residue of my Redy monny bills bondes Househgoods Wareing Apprell and all other my assettes I have at my derth of whate nature or Kinde So ever to be paid unto her at the Age of Twenty on yeres but if my Grande daughfter shall dye before She Ataines thet age then my Will and meaning is that my Exceitor despose the Same to the Towe Grandsons a bove named as he shall thinke proper and conveanintly and Lastely I do nominate and Apoynte my Loving Brother Lawe William Townsend Full and Sole Exceitor of this my Last Will Alowing him all Moderat Expenses and further give him five Shillings and I do Appount William Whiting Trustee to See this my Will duly preformed and I do give him five Shillings for the Same and I do Revoke and make voide all Former Will or Wills by me heretofore made in Witnes I have hereunto Set my Hande and Sale the day and yere a bove writen Sined Saled published and declared to be my last Will in the peresens of [written at side] Witnes herunto Mary Burson Lucy Townsand Tho: Whiting Probat' &c 17 Aprilis 1730 apud Chipnorton coram Ven’li Viro Hen: Brooke Ll D’ris & D’ni Archi’ni Archinat; Oxon Offi’lis &c jur’to Guliel' Townsend Ex’torem cui commissa fuit et est adm’io &c ad s’ta Dei Evangelia in forma juris jurat &c Salvo etc | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
