Nuncupative will. Both the Probate and Exhibition Notes are a barely legible Latin scrawl, but it appears that probate was granted to father John (and maybe brother John too), with power as usual reserved to the other Executors. 29'o Dec: 1674 Oliv' Calcott of Thame in the County of Oxon Butcher did then declare his will to bee as followeth Hee makes his ffather John Calcott & his Uncle Rich’ Calcott & his brother John Calcott & his Uncle W'm Tripp Ex'rs & Trustees to receive & pay his debts & to sell his house at Thame And after all debts p'd then the rest of his estate to bee equally divided amongst his wife & children share & share alike, but if shee claymes any Thirds Then to lose her share of the estate.
