  • My body is to be buried in the chancel of Dorchester Church as near as possible to my late wife, and a gravestone is to be laid upon both our graves signifying our bodies lying there and the time of our decease, and the rest at the discretion of my Executor.
  • My debts and funeral charges are to be first paid.
  • I give my brother Edward Coppock in LAN Manchester the sum of [Blank]

I Robert Coppock inhabitant of Wallingford in Coun. Berkes and Minister of Gods
Work at Warborow in Coun Oxon being in good health of Body and of sounde and
Perfect mynde and memorie praise be therefore given to Almightie God do make
And ordaine this my present Last Will and Testament in manner and forme follow=
Ing That is to say Imprimis ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the
Hands of Almightie God hopeing through the meritts death and passion of my Saviour
Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgivenes of all my sinnes and to
inheritt everlasting life ___ Item my bodie I commit to the Earth to be decently buried
in the Channcell of Dorchester Church in Coun Oxon as neare as may be to my late
deceased wife and to have a Gravestone layd upon either of our Graves signifyeing our
Bodies lying there and the tyme of our Decease and the rest att the discretion of my
Executor hereafter named And as touching the Disposition of all such Goods and Chattles
as it hath pleased Almightie God to bestowe upon mee I give and dispose thereof as
followeth Imprimis my Debts and ffunerall Charges being paid and discharged I
I give to my Brother Edward Coppock in Manchester in Coun Lancashire the Summe

upon that Accounyt out of theire respective Legacies Item my will is that these Legacies be paid

Within one halfe yeare after my decease and if not then Executor to have no advantage
of this my Last Will and Testament Item I give unto my wife Margery Coppock whome
together I make Executor with my Brother John Coppock All the rest of my Goods and

chattells not intending my Brother John Coppock to make any further use
thereof then to see this my last Will and Testament performed and forfilled

Stonor Crouch of Wallingford
in the Countie of Berkes and Thomas Bassett of Wallingford aforesaid ______ (the younger in mar)
make oath that they were well acquainted with the character and hand
writing of the within named Robert Coppock and that they verely believe the
writing within contayned purporting the last Will of the said Robert Coppock
is all of the propper hand writing of the said Robert Coppock : Stonor Crouch
