CH309. Transcribed by a member of Charlbury Society Historical Research Group. 22s seems a strange sum to give to her own children, but that's what it says. The lack of a mention of son Christopher's wife suggests that she may be dead. Sabina EYANS (given grown-up riding kit) could be a daughter-in-law. The connection between the WAYNMANs and the APPLETREEs is not clear, but it seems possible that Anthony W Sr was married to another of the testatrix's daughters (maybe the legatee Sarah W, or maybe now dead), with four children, their daughter Jane W being now married to Richard A. Luce's husband's will mentions a grandson Richard APLTRIE. But users should be aware that all that is mere conjecture. There is a copy of the will (not the original) at OHC and FMP, ref: W 20/2/52. Written on its outer cover is a (very) brief Inventory, which is here transcribed after the will. The following details are believed to be true but should not be totally relied upon: Testatrix: Wife of Richard (1612/13 qv). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
