Transcriber's and Editor's Notes
The surname is spelt in various ways, most commonly PREEDEE, by whoever wrote out the original will, but has with typical arrogance been altered to PRIDY by the clerk throughout the Register copy. In the Commission and Oath it is PREDEY, and on the assumption that the local vicar would have the best idea of the spelling that version has been used in the Summary (and Index), but users should be aware of the problem.
The short page at the end giving money to grandchildren is technically a codicil, and should have been separately signed and witnessed, but it all appears to have gone through normally.
"Hickwall" is said to be a dialect word for the green woodpecker.
A full Inventory is included.
  Translated and paragraphed.
with some of the standard preamble and "legalese" removed.
